Virtual connections

Virtual interactions are effortless and convenient.

The easiest consumption one can have is virtual; where you do not have to invest in human-like experience or anything that entails.

It’s no surprise if you find people paying attention to you by viewing your stories, liking your posts, giving reactions, or sending minimal responses without truly engaging with you.

They will never consume more from you if it requires effort, reciprocation, and genuine attention. Instead, they will stop, leading to feelings of being ignored or “ghosted.”

Keep in mind that they have already enjoyed the flashy and attractive content (superficial interaction) you could have provided them for FREE.

Therefore, it’s important not to expect substantial connections from these virtual interactions.

How can you save the damage?

Firstly, consider if you have a clear purpose for engaging online.

Secondly, evaluate whether the other party also has a genuine purpose for engaging.

It’s crucial to understand that without a sense of purpose, people are unlikely to invest in you.

Therefore, it’s unrealistic to expect significant commitment from those who are content with casual virtual consumption.

Finally, it’s important to accept that attention does not necessarily indicate affection or attachment.

Virtual connection is comparable to following an online page for free entertainment, and then moving on to a different page offering better content without unfollowing the previous one.

Okay bye!!🙂‍↕️
